With our TOURING windshield - in combination with our Rock 'n' Roll cockpit fairing - the touring and long-distance suitability of the R 18 can be noticeably improved without compromising the stylish line of the cruiser, quite the contrary. The aerodynamic shape of the compact windshield, which is cleverly shaped to suit the rider, directs the flow of the airstream upwards, thus relieving the rider of the desired wind pressure. This applies even from medium speeds. The integrated windshield, together with our cockpit fairing, ensures an overall optimised laminar airflow on the R 18.

Five millimetre windshield thickness stands for mechanical and aerodynamic stability even at the highest speeds. Our typical, high-quality manufacturing of the scratch- and break-resistant PMMA material is recognisable when you look through it: a clear view, without distorting optical flaws that irritate. Another trademark: the hand-polished, rounded edges, which make a separate edge protector unnecessary.
