The HOLAN ® QR system visible in the photos has an internal key lock, and its installation takes only a moment, as you can see in the video
Advantages of the HOLAN®/NOMADA system:
Perfect compromise: strength/weight for the pannier system (most of these changes are the result of consultations and joint design with the Wrocław University of Science and Technology). Despite the fact that the wall of the pannier body is 2.0 mm thick, we have the lightest panniers with a mounting system on the market.
What influenced this:
- low height of the cover and, consequently, smaller elements on the cover of the pannier: buckle hooks and strap holders for mounting additional luggage, corners
- low weight of the assembly kit (despite the high load capacity) - The system includes PRO mounts mounted on the panniers with stiffening sheets that prevent abrasion of the pannier walls
- 2mm thick body and bottom sheet metal, but on the cover with 1.5mm sheet metal because it is the only part that does not affect the stiffness of the case and is the last to be injured in an accident. after making the prototype, we found that 1.5 mm is completely sufficient for the cover, which reduces its net weight by 25% (for extremeists, we have introduced a carbon cover to the offer, with the net weight reduced to 253g from 663g (for the Nomada PRO pannier cover). 38L with 2.0mm ALU)
- very small dimensions of the buckle despite the use of a key lock (another weight reduction)
- Ultimately, we managed to reduce the gross weight of the assembly set to 0.4 kg (unofficial world record ;)
Advantages of the system with an exhaust cutout:
- with the same capacity of the panniers - approximately 8-10 cm smaller system width
- small width - only 88cm (for the system with 33L cases with a cutout for the exhaust on the right side + 38L straight on the left side)
- we offer the narrowest pannier systems on the market (for comparable pannier volumes)
- optimal location of the panniers - close to the motorcycle and just under the seat line - eliminates the unfavorable impact of the mounted panniers on the center of gravity and driving characteristics of the motorcycle (lower air resistance, lower fuel consumption, etc.)
- new pannier frame frame design: reduced size (weight reduction + dynamic design)
- the pannier frame with a cutout for the exhaust works perfectly as a crash bar for the end exhaust
- the special construction allowed us to avoid the crossbar connecting both sides of the pannier frame while maintaining greater stiffness
What distinguishes the HOLAN® QR system from other systems:
- the panniers are made of high-quality aluminum EN AW-5754, thickness: 2mm (best compromise between weight and strength)
- the bottom is connected to the body with an overlap, so in the place of impact/contact of the case when the motorcycle falls over, we have a double sheet thickness = 4 mm
- stiffness in the vertical and horizontal plane panniers to the double bend under the cover
- lock against removing the pannier: inside the pannier - no possibility of dirt or unauthorized access
- possibility of adapting external accessories: panniers adapted for hanging additional canisters on the side walls (panniers to the use of compact buckles) and hanging heavy objects under the case (optional accessories)
- in the system with the HOLAN® QR pannier frame for side panniers, the process of attaching and detaching the pannier takes only 1 second
- 100% waterproof - retained even after "parking soil"
the system includes:
- Nomada PRO right pannier with a cut for the exhaust
- Nomada PRO left pannier
- pannier frame for HOLAN ® QR PRO panniers (with a recess for the exhaust) with a system for quick assembly and disassembly of the panniers (soft luggage optional)
- 4 locks installed with the same key number + 2 locks in the integral internal lock
The system already has HOLAN® QR mounting kits installed on the panniers
the pannier frame is made of 90% acid-resistant stainless steel, powder-coated in the color: mat black (RAL 9005, fine structure)
The upper rack and handles for carrying the panniers visible in the photo are not included in the price of the set (they can be ordered separately)
NOTE: select the correct version of the mounting kit. For the version that previously had an original rack, we add an original cover from BMW. The cover under the seat covers the empty space left by the original pannier (black plastic)
